Ingredients:
- 12 chicken drumsticks
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Wood chips for smoking
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, honey, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a marinade
Place chicken drumsticks in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them
Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight
Preheat your smoker to 225F 107C and add soaked wood chips for smoking
Remove drumsticks from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels
Discard the marinade
Place the drumsticks on the smoker grate and smoke for 2 to 2
5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C
Serve hot and enjoy your delicious smoked chicken drumsticks
