Ingredients:
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 1 teaspoon of water
Instructions:
Start by boiling an egg until its hard-boiled
This typically takes about 10-12 minutes
Once the egg is boiled, let it cool down for a few minutes
You can run it under cold water to speed up the cooling process
Gently tap the wider end of the egg on a hard surface to crack the shell slightly, but be careful not to shatter the entire shell
Take a teaspoon and carefully slide it between the cracked eggshell and the egg white, just beneath the membrane
Rotate the spoon around the egg, keeping it close to the egg white, to loosen the entire shell from the egg white
Once the shell is detached all the way around, it should easily slide off in one piece
You can also use your fingers to help peel away any remaining bits of shell
Rinse the peeled egg under cold water to remove any small shell fragments
Your hard-boiled egg is now perfectly peeled and ready to eat or use in your favorite recipes
