Ingredients:
- 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced ribeye steak
- 1/2 cup sliced green bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced onions
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Set your oven to 475F 245C and put a baking sheet or pizza stone inside to heat up
Put the olive oil in a pan and heat it over medium-high heat
It will take about two to three minutes of cooking after adding the steak slices until they are browned
Take the steak out of the pan and set it aside
Put the mushrooms, green bell peppers, and onions that have been sliced into the same pan
You can add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes to taste
It will take about 5 to 7 minutes of sauting until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the thickness you want
Carefully move the dough to a piece of parchment paper if you are using a pizza stone
Spread the pizza sauce out evenly on the dough, but leave a little space around the edges for the crust
On top of the sauce, put half of the provolone cheese
Spread the cooked steak and vegetables in a pan over the cheese in an even layer
Add the rest of the provolone cheese to the steak and vegetables
Carefully move the pizza from the parchment paper to the hot pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven that has already been heated
Put it in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and a little browned
After taking the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza out of the oven, sprinkle it with fresh parsley, cut it up, and serve it hot
Enjoy your tasty Philly Cheesesteak pizza that you made yourself
