Light and Crisp Waffles

Backpage Male Town 'n' Country

For a delicious breakfast or brunch, try these waffles that you made yourself. You can put your favorite toppings on top of them because the outside is light, fluffy, and crisp.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturers instructions

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract

Mix well

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined

Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay

Lightly grease the waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray or a small amount of oil

Pour the waffle batter onto the preheated waffle iron, using the recommended amount for your specific waffle maker

Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp, typically 3-5 minutes

Carefully remove the waffles from the iron and serve immediately with your favorite toppings, such as maple syrup, fresh berries, or whipped cream
