Baked Camembert is a delightful appetizer or snack that brings out the creamy, nutty flavors of this soft cheese. The addition of garlic and thyme enhances its aroma and taste, making it a perfect pairing with crusty bread.
Ingredients:
- 1 whole Camembert cheese 250g
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 baguette, sliced for serving
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C
Remove any packaging from the Camembert and place it back in its wooden box, or onto a baking dish lined with parchment paper
Make small incisions in the top of the cheese and insert the sliced garlic and thyme sprigs into the cuts
Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the cheese
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is gooey and slightly melted
Serve immediately with sliced baguette for dipping
