Ingredients:
- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut
Instructions:
Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C
Put the apple slices, brown sugar, maple syrup, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice in a large bowl
Use a lot of force to coat the apples all over
Place the apple mixture in a pie dish and spread it out evenly
Roll the oats and mix them with the flour, melted coconut oil, chopped pecans, and shredded coconut in a different bowl
Mix until it falls apart
Cover the apples in the pie dish with the crumble mixture
Put it in an oven that has already been heated up and bake it for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the crumble topping is golden brown
Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it
If you want, you can drizzle vegan caramel sauce on top while its still warm
